Special Group Ministries
Anyone entering Bethany's doors will find a group dedicated to their need or interest. We are committed to offering viable resources to every age group and many areas of special needs.  It doesn't matter who you are, there is something here targeted to your special needs and interests.

A.C.T.S.
Applying Christianity Through Service is led by our Building Administrator Daniel. It is a group of skilled and unskilled volunteers helping all those (inside the body or outside) who need help with small, handyman type jobs, yard work, housekeeping, etc. For more info email Daniel at this address:  bethanywyckoff@hotmail.com.

Altar Ministry Team
The Ministry Team is available to pray for anyone at the conclusion of each service held at Bethany.  This team is comprised of the elders, deacons, and their wives. Bethany strives to obey the prompting of our Lord when He encourages his church to reach out to the  “least of these.”

The City Closet
The City Closet is our clothing ministry. Seasonal clothes in good condition are deposited in a designated drop off spot at the church; the donated clothing is immediately distributed through Street Life Ministries to people in need.  For more info email Diane Houtsma at this address:  bethanywyckoff@hotmail.com

Confident Kids
Confident Kids is a small group program helping families with children ages 4 – 12 deal with the stresses of living in today’s world.  Through games, skits, and small group discussions, both children and their parents gather in their own individual groups to learn important life skills.  For more info contact Helene Revelant at this address:  bethanywyckoff@hotmail.com.

English as a Second Language (ESL)
The towns surrounding Bethany Church are filled with people from various language backgrounds.  In an effort to help these people feel welcome and assimilate them in to our culture,  we offer free classes to adults who want to improve their English speaking skills.  For more info email Diane Houtsma at this address:  bethanywyckoff@hotmail.com.

Nursing Home
These volunteers travel to area nursing homes to bring a word of encouragement, sing a favorite song, offer a prayer, or just talk. Too often these people lack for a simple human touch, something we easily take for granted. This is a wonderful opportunity to remind someone that they are not forgotten.  For more info email Vern Brollier at this address:  bethanywyckoff@hotmail.com.

Through the Roof
“Through the Roof” ministry desires to meet the needs of any individual with disabilities and special needs, along with their families to help them reach their fullest potential in Christ.  (Luke 5:19).  For more info email Andrea Szott at this address:  bethanywyckoff@hotmail.com.

Friendship Groups

One division of our Small Group Ministry is called Friendship Groups.  These groups meet in various homes once a month.  Pastor Rich will be happy to assist anyone looking to attend a group in their area. Call the church office to speak with him.

Kids' Ministry
KidZone
Children at Bethany Church have a place to call their own!  Our KidZone is a place of wonder and discovery as children from birth through 5th grade gather to learn Biblical truths.  Our goal is to create an environment that is both educational and entertaining for the children of our communities.  In addition to our special
Kids Church service on Sunday at 10:45 AM, small group activities take place every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM and Sunday morning at 9:30 AM.

Prophetic Council
This is an appointed group of people with proven prophetic gifting whose purpose is to nurture the prophetic in God's church. We desire to hear God speak to us today; for that reason, the council was established to provide direction, instruction, and correction to ensure that this important gift is stewarded responsibly.  For more info email Bill Morchen at this address:  bethanywyckoff@hotmail.com.
