In Ephesians, the Apostle Paul states that God gave certain gifts to the church: apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers. Bethany Church is trying to establish as many of those ministries as possible. We also offer education for every age level, provide mentoring, support, participate in missions, and recognize the prophetic. Here is a partial list of Bethany Church Ministries.

 

Bible Quiz
The purpose of Bible Quiz (BQ) is to encourage our youth to learn God’s Word by systematic study and applying the truths they learn to their daily lives. There is an eight year cycle that covers 16 New Testament books. It provides healthy competition and an opportunity to build relationships and expand Christian friendship. Junior Bible Quiz
Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) was created and designed to help children develop a love for the Bible and an understanding that its truth can guide their lives daily. Junior Bible Quiz offers a fun, exciting way to motivate children to understand the all-important truths in God’s Word. Through cooperative learning, children work together on teams to learn and understand the questions and answers from the Bible Fact-Pak. Then using cooperative competition the children meet with other teams for a fun quizzing match. Boy Scouts
Bethany sponsors Boy Scout Troop 77. This acclaimed troop has produced nearly two dozen Eagle Scouts in the last few years! Christian Education
We have a wide variety of classes and small groups for children, youth, and adults.  Classes and groups are scheduled on a trimester basis. There are groups and classes for women, men, couples, singles, leadership training, and general Bible Study. Healing Room

Kids' Ministry
KidZone
Children at Bethany Church have a place to call their own!  Our KidZone is a place of wonder and discovery as children from birth through 5th grade gather to learn Biblical truths.  Our goal is to create an environment that is both educational and entertaining for the children of our communities.  In addition to our special Kids Church service on Sunday at 10:45 AM, small group activities take place every Wednesday night at 7:00 PM and Sunday morning at 9:30 AM.

 

Life Group
This active group of adults age 55+ meet together for various activities and overnight trips throughout the year.  Contact Pastor Rich for more info.

 

New Beginnings

Promise Keepers Men’s Ministry

Prophetic Council
This is an appointed group of people with proven prophetic gifting whose purpose is to nurture the prophetic in God's church. Women’s Ministry

Young Adult Ministries
RESONATE
RESONATE is Bethany’s ministry to young adults ages 18 – 35.  Due to the wide range of people in this age category, Pastors Chris and Cheryl Colletti, along with their leadership team, have designed a ministry that reaches out to everyone.  During the week you will find small groups meeting at local coffee shops for book discussions and prayer.  Small group Bible studies also take place regularly in order to help you along the journey. You will also find a schedule full of fun activities designed to create friendships, build community, and reach out to the lost.

 

Youth Ministries
SYMLIFE
Bethany's youth group is a dynamic ministry for young people in grades 6 through 12. The teaching is Biblical and relevant. Pastors John and Susie James, along with an outstanding leadership team, help these young people to mature into productive Christians.  

 

SYMLIFE provides “ELEVATE” – a service on Wednesdays at 7:00 PM for Junior Highers, and "LIFT" a service on Friday Nights at 7:00 PM for Senior Highers and College Students. In addition, they have small groups for Christian education on Sundays at 9:30AM for all. Additionally SYMLIFE offers small groups for various age groups and interests throughout the week as well as a full schedule of games, concerts, retreats, etc. Check out their web site at www.symonline.com.
