The newest and most exciting ministry at Bethany Church is the Healing Room, headed by Lou and Judy Imperial. For the past several years, the Imperials have ministered privately, having accepted the call on their lives to this ministry and actively pursued training from authorities around the country. They have also given several presentations on healing and deliverance ministry.
Bethany Church has been described as a place where God will be performing healing miracles on a regular basis - a word that Lou and Judy have taken to heart. Last year as the first step in seeing this word come to pass, they invited Curry Blake of John G. Lake Ministries to teach a 3 day training seminar on healing ministry. For 8 hours each day, the Divine Healing Technicians received intense instruction on what the Bible has to say about healing and how to minister in this area today. The public evening sessions included Curry's testimony, testimony from those who received healing during the conference, and prayer for those in need of healing.
Since then, these Divine Healing Technicians have continued their apprenticeship with the Imperials. After a time of low-profile ministry, Bethany Church established the Healing Room ministry, offering help for those suffering from arthritis, cancer, viruses, other sickness, injury, depression, and general pain. Everyone's privacy is fiercely protected, although we welcome permission to use the testimonies of those who receive healing.
